Psalm 5:3 "In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly."
Ah! Morning Coffee is a time of devotion for me and the Lord. And as I continue on with my devotion I felt compelled by the Lord to start blogging/journaling the interests of these devotions. Throughout the Word of God when the Lord spoke to his servants he told them write it down (ie. Moses, John, Daniel, even Mary wrote it on the tablet of her heart) these are things to be remembered not only for the individual who received it, to reflect on it again, but also for generations to come to read and be encouraged through all that God did before them.
There is nothing more surreal then a fresh cup of warm coffee with French Vanilla creamer and basking yourself in the Word of God and His presence to start the day. It's in these moments that all the busyness of our daily lives, the rush/urgency of meaningless task, and the consumption of our selfishness just subside - creating an intimacy of ease that the Lord is ever so present in!
As these blogs continue many will be the reflection of the time that I spent that morning in fellowship with the Holy Spirit and allowing Him to be my teacher while giving me insight to his illuminating word. While others may be my own thoughts, concerns, or way of ventilation for whatever ventures I may be going through in that time of my life.
