An Anointed Appearance

Leviticus 10:6-7 Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar, "Do not show grief by leaving your hair uncombed or by tearing your clothes. If you do, you will die, and the Lord's anger will strike the whole community of Israel . However, the rest of the Israelites, your relatives, may mourn because of the Lord's fiery destruction of Nadab and Abihu. But you must not leave the entrance of the Tabernacle or you will die, for you have been anointed with the Lord's anointing oil." So they did as Moses commanded.

Two of Aaron's sons had just died because they violated the correct way of worshipping the Lord. Wow, that's a Word in itself!

Believers do you understand the anointing of God over your life? There is Power in the anointing and that power comes with responsibility.  So many people with the anointing want the power, but not the responsibility. 

Now this is for those that are not just saved, but have been anointed to do good works for the kingdom of God .  Those that have stepped out of a mire label of Christianity and into ministry. 

Doing ministry without the anointing is powerless because it becomes the work of our own hands and many problems will arise. It is only the anointing that gives the power to uphold our ministries.

If you have been anointed, then understand the responsibility of the anointing. By carrying the anointing, that means you carry presence of the Lord, and there is to be an "anointed appearance". People with the anointing can't and shouldn't do things that others do, as well as should refrain from displaying defeated emotions. The Bible says the anointing breaks the yoke of bondage, but too many times believers with the anointing misrepresent the appearance of the anointing by reacting defeated, depressed, angry, bitter, etc. Aaron and his sons were not allowed to show grief for the loss of their family because those that were expressing their own grief were going to seek help and they needed to see the power of the anointing!

If you have been anointed, start living in the anointing through your thoughts, attitude, and appearance. Desire to maintain an anointed appearance and let the world see the Power of the Holy Ghost!
