Equal Before The Lord

"Native-born Israelites and foreigners are equal before the Lord and are subject to the same decrees. This is a permanent law for you, to be observed from generation to generation." - Numbers 15:15

This permanent law is still in effect; God shows no favoritism. Salvation is for all. And because salvation is for all, we as believers need to be open to extending the gospel to anyone and everyone! Praise Chapel Christian Fellowship's president, Larry Neville, describes this best as "Globality": the gospel to everyone, everywhere, by anyone.

Israelites and foreigners are equal before the Lord. All must call upon the name of the Lord to be saved. In this equality, everyone is subject to the same decrees, which means no one is without excuse before the Lord. Jesus is the savior of the world to all nations, races, and colors.  All must give an account.

From generation to generation we must learn to break the chains of racism and to uphold the decrees of the Lord that all are equal in his sight.  Let us get past the "stick to your own" mindset and begin to reach out to a foreigner. You will see that they too need Jesus and in that moment you will experience a true common union. We're all equal before the Lord!
