Proverbs 1:32 "For simpletons turn away from me—to death. Fools are destroyed by their own complacency."
Death is something we can't escape as human beings. Because of one mans simpleton act, Adam has caused death to mankind. Solomon in Ecclesiastes 2:16 states, "For the wise and the foolish both die." The truth is we will die, unless of course Jesus returns before that, for those that are found in him. As humans in this flesh on this world we are fools and we all deserve death.
God knows this. Which is why Jesus had to come as man. He was the perfect man and even his flesh had to see death because what is of the flesh will have to face death. But when he died he conquered death and its victory! To be wise is to understand what he did for us. He made it so that even though we will see death in this foolish flesh our eternal being won't have to face an eternal death if we are wise.
We need to remind ourselves even though we are in this flesh we can not allow ourselves to become complacent in the flesh. If we live a carefree and careless life, then we are being a fool and will suffer a fools fate.
Jesus rose from the dead to show the world wisdom is trusting in him. All those that put Jesus on the cross thought him a fool when they seen him die on the cross but three days later he proved them wrong. So even though we may share in a fools fate while in this flesh don't allow yourself to be an Eternal Fool. Don't become complacent here on earth but set your heart, eyes, and mind on heaven above!
You don't have to suffer... A Fools Fate!
